Risk Dashboard

The Risk Dashboard is a feature accessible to all users with risk management permissions. Its primary purpose is to provide an overview of information related to the risks that the user has permissions to edit or view. It is important to highlight that access to information on the Dashboard is restricted to the specific risks for which the user has assigned permissions.

To access it, simply click on the Risk Dashboard option located in the Risk Management menu.

Upon selecting this option, the user will be directed to the Risk Dashboard interface, where they can view different aspects and information related to the risks pertinent to their profile and access permissions.

When accessing the Dashboard for the first time, the display will show zero values, as nothing has been registered yet.

After accessing the Risk Dashboard for the first time, users will have an overview of risks, providing a comprehensive summary of the risks present in the organization. This overview includes risks that are currently active, those undergoing reassessment, and those that have been closed.

This functionality allows users to have an instant view of the organization's risk landscape, identifying areas of concern, emerging trends, and progress in risk mitigation over time. With this overview, managers and decision-makers can take proactive and strategic measures to effectively manage risks and protect the organization's interests.

Additionally, it allows users to filter based on specific criteria such as Period, Category, Context, and Risk Type, making it easier to locate specific risks.

To access the filter, simply click on Filter.

Next, a window will open with fields that can be used for filtering.

  • Period: Users can add the risk period using two date fields, one for Start date and another for Final date.
  • Category: Users can select only categories or subcategories for which they are responsible or are in charge of a specific context within it.
  • Context: Contexts will only appear after selecting a category. Only options for which the user is responsible will be available for selection.
  • Risk Type: Options will only appear after selecting a category. All existing types will be displayed.

By clicking Clear, the values in the fields will be removed.

The Period and Category fields are mandatory, so filtering to generate the Risk Dashboard will not be possible without filling in these fields.

After clicking Apply, the risk status will be displayed on the screen.

After applying any filter, it will be saved. When the user accesses the Risk Dashboard again, the last defined filter will already be applied.

At the bottom of the screen, users will be able to view counters for Active Risks, Closed Risks, and Risks to Reassess.

  • Active Risks: These are risks that are open in any of the stages, from Identify to Reassess.
  • Closed Risks: These are risks that have been finalized.
  • Risks to Reassess: Exclusively the risks that are in the Reassess stage, which involves monitoring the risk to ensure it does not occur.

In the Heat Map, the relationship between Probability X Impact of all filtered risks can be visualized. Each quadrant shows the total number of risks in that position.

The position of each risk on the heat map is based on the current situation. Therefore, if a risk has been reassessed 3 times, for example, it will be based on the last reassessment.

By clicking on any quadrant of the Heat Map or on any counter at the bottom of the screen, the user will be redirected to the category where it is configured and can access detailed information about it.

In this listing, the sorting will remain the default configured for the Risk Center. However, the filter will follow what was defined in the Risk Dashboard filter.
