Internationalization

There are three standard languages in Fusion: English, Portuguese, and Spanish. However, more languages can be entered.

Before registering any term in the new language, you must first register the desired language.

To access Languages go to: Administration > Internationalization > Language.

Languages

This screen presents the standard languages previously registered in Fusion:

1

To add a new Language, click New. If you want to register more than one language, click New (batch).

2

When you click New, the following screen will be available:

3

Some of the New Language fields are mandatory and others are informational only:

  1. Title: You must enter a code for the language.
  2. Language: It is mandatory to tell which language you want to introduce to Fusion. Only two letters can be entered, for example if the language chosen is German, enter its acronym “DE”.
  3. Country: Enter the country that uses the language.
  4. Variant: Enter in this field a variant of the language being registered, such as the registered regional dialect.

After completing the information, click “Ok” to effect the creation of the Language.

Once the language registration is complete, it is possible to enter the language-specific terms to Fusion.

Attention: The system has 3 registered languages, namely ES (Traditional Spanish), EN-US (American English) and PT-BR (Brazilian Portuguese). It is possible to register languages that inherit another primary language, for example, if the ES-MX language (Mexican Spanish) is registered, it will inherit the terms of ES, but the terms registered only in ES-MX will be read by the system before the terms registered in the legacy language (in this case ES).
