Portlets

To customize your Fusion workspace, you can add portlets. In addition to the traditional portlets that Fusion offers, you can create new ones to customize your workspace.

To access the portlets screen, click Administration > Portlets. Clicking Portlets displays the following screen:

New Portlet

To create a new portlet, click New. When you click, the following screen appears:

Some fields are mandatory and others are only informative. These will be described below in their fill shapes.

  1. Name: Set the name of your new portlet. This field is mandatory and does not accept space and/or special characters.
  2. Title: Enter the title of your portlet. The completion of this field is mandatory.
  3. Icon: Insert an image of 16x16 bit size. This icon will be next to the Title. The insertion of an icon is not mandatory.
  4. Portlet (Java Class): Enter the corresponding JSP. Note that the field is already populated with a Java class, but you can modify it. The completion of this field is mandatory.

Initial Parameters

  1. Initial Parameters: For your portlet to work, create your initial parameters in New. Clicking opens the following screen:

  • Name, enter the parameter name.

Attention: Mandatorily, in at least one initial parameter, enter the “view-page” parameter.

  • Value, enter the parameter value. E.g. /portlets/<pasta>/<nome do arquivo>.jsp

To finish, click Ok.

Parameters

  1. Parameters: Create Parameters in New. When you click, the following screen appears:

Note that this screen has the same fields as the Initial Parameters screen. Fill them out and click Ok.

  1. Width: Enter the width of the new portlet.
  2. Height: Enter the height of the new portlet.

When finished, click Ok
